MacArthur Geniuses Bring Lab Coats to the Courtroom
This year's crop of MacArthur Fellows includes researchers working where science meets justice. Forensic anthropologist Kate Spradley and philosopher-neuroscientist Felipe De Brigard are among the honorees using rigorous research to tackle questions of fairness and truth. It's a reminder that some of the smartest work happening today is aimed squarely at making the world a little more just.
