Mahershala Ali's New Thriller Wrestles With Faith and Bloodshed

Director Bassam Tariq's latest film follows a hitman grappling with his Muslim identity, born partly out of his fallout with Marvel's shelved Blade reboot. The result feels more interested in stylish kills than in deeply exploring its characters' faith.
